Sydney has written, produced and filmed documentaries on military challenges for the US ARMY ROTC/ARMY and received the Commander's Award from the University of Southern California and the US Army, recognizing her work on the documentary “A Ranger's Challenge". Sydney also received a special pin and acknowledgment from the United States Department of Defense. Sydney has dedicated her time to advocating for climate change, healthcare, term limits, women's reproductive rights, police reform and the disabled, both at the local, state and federal levels.

Sydney's also written and filmed a documentary titled (The Forgotten Women), in addition to several period dramas, short films, feature films (The Cote, The Prodigious Lives of the Exasperating St. Johns, The Luftwaffe, The Orbitors and The Timekeeper's Handshake) and two 1960's limited series set in LA titled "The Card Game" and “The Flesh Peddlers”, plus a short film “The Friend Corps” She has in development “Simply Salsa TV”, a hybrid reality, dance and travel series and "No One Knows What We Do, a documentary about Black operatives in the CIA, FBI, NSA, UN Investigators and Special Forces who still aren't given the respect they deserve, given the fact that they risk their lives for this country.

Sydney is at the helm of SCM Entertainment and Media,​ and served on the Board of Directors of the Global Doo Wop Coalition/Doo Wop Music Hall of Fame. She was the lead negotiator for a contingent to bring a multi-genre music museum to Los Angeles and various buildings, businesses and structures. Sydney also managed and served as a publicist for various music, film, web-series and TV professionals, artists and creatives, as well as entertainment related organizations.

Sydney is proficient in social media management, digital content, branding, strategy and editing. As a journalist, she's covered award shows, movie premieres, red carpets, film festivals, the Summer and Winter Olympics, in addition to the Special Olympics and general assignments.

Sydney has worked as a special project consultant specializing in risk management, with a targeted proficiency in corporate strategic planning as well as being skilled in corporate management, leading action teams, Marketing, PR, event planning, international business practices and multi-national business strategy.

​

Additional skillsets include film editing, sound editing, sound mixing, film production and lighting. Studied Egyptology, Hieratic Writing, Business Administration, International Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Law, Parliamentary Law and International Security.

 

Sydney has traversed the globe. Global travel and entrenching herself into other cultures, learning their customs, languages and the people, are just some of her many assets friends, clients and colleagues alike find admirable.
